Responsibilities:

• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the tanning salon, including both public and private areas.

• Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect tanning beds, sunless tanning booths, waiting areas, and other surfaces following established sanitation protocols.

• Restroom Maintenance: Keep restrooms clean and well-stocked with supplies, including towels, soap, and toiletries.

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the salon to maintain a clean and inviting environment.

• Dust and Wipe: Dust and wipe surfaces, including counters, shelves, mirrors, and windows, to ensure a polished appearance.

• Trash Management: Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent odors.

• Product Organization: Keep tanning lotions, creams, and products organized and neatly displayed.

• Safety Measures: Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure the safety of both staff and customers.

• Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail to ensure that all areas are spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a positive customer experience.

• Emergency Response: Address and report any immediate cleaning or maintenance needs, such as spills or malfunctions, to the appropriate personnel.

• Adherence to Standards: Adhere to established cleaning standards and protocols set by the salon management.

• Flexibility: Be open to assisting in other tasks or roles within the salon as needed during slower cleaning periods.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7 hours per day
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
