The Dental Assistants are responsible for providing hands-on support to Dentists and completing prep work so they can more efficiently care for patients. Their duties include completing intake paperwork and updating patient records, sterilizing, and organizing dental tools and assisting during dental procedures.WORKING AT WESTSIDE MEANS WORKING IN A PRIMARY CARE MEDICAL HOME. Westside Family Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESEscort patients to and from rooms.Ensure proper treatment notes are recorded in the patient's chart.Perform clinical procedures as practice act allows and as directed by dentist.Give patient instruction and demonstrate when necessary.Monitor patient flow.Keep dental units ready, stocked, and clean.Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to the company's protocol.Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized.Arrange patient charts and radiographs for the next day's appointments.PM22Requirements: MINIMUM OBJECTIVE QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GEDBasic life support certificationCurrent Delaware X-ray certificationSix months of experience using Microsoft Office softwareSix months of experience using electronic dental or medical record softwareGraduate of accredited dental assisting program or dental assisting experiencePIf14f3000cf87-26289-35541884
