East Penn is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide effective customer service internally and externally by utilizing in-depth knowledge of East Penn products and communicating effectively with all parties. Will also provide product and service information while also offering solutions, corrections or adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way via phone, fax or email and assist as necessary
- Receive customer purchase orders via telephone, fax and email and process
- Perform customer specific duties as required
- Recommend solutions, corrections or adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide product and service information as well as possible solutions
- Complete customer orders/changes/returns according to the applicable contract/agreement and per department policy and procedure
- Works closely with various internal departments (Sales, Pricing, Inventory Planning, Warehouses, etc.)
- Prepares sales orders for processing based on customer specific details
- Provides feedback to Sales, department management and other internal departments based on customer issues
- Maintain good attendance
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year previous work experience in a customer service environment and/or experience in a fast-paced office environment handling telephones and administrative duties.
- Sales experience helpful
