2024 is a great time to join Delta Faucet Company's largest facility, located in Jackson, Tennessee! We're currently interviewing candidates for future openings on our team, across the following shifts:
A1: Saturday (5am-5:30pm), Sunday (5am-5:30pm), Monday (5am-5:30pm) and every other Tuesday (7am- 5:30pm)
A2: Saturday (5pm-5:30am), Sunday (5pm-5:30am), Monday (5pm-3am) and every other Tuesday (5pm-5:30am)
B2: Every other Tuesday (5pm-5:30am), Wednesday (5pm-5:30am), Thursday (5pm-5:30am) and Friday (5pm-5:30am)
As a Shipper, you will play a role in keeping our operation running smoothly as you move raw material or finished goods. To thrive as a Shipper, detail orientation and strong math skills are essential. Being reliable with our attendance expectations is required, as is flexibility to work overtime as needed. Agility is also key, as shippers may be required to switch daily responsibilities frequently based on staffing and demand of daily schedule. Video overview of the Shipper role:
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading trucks, applying labels to boxes on moving conveyor lines, pulling parts from high shelves and sorting boxes on conveyor lines
  • Wearing protective harness, operating handheld scan gun and using pallet jack
  • Becoming a certified operator to operate moving equipment
  • Operating forklift, reach truck, order picker and dock stocker (previous reach truck and order picker experience is preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety rules
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Playing a key role in maintaining constant production cycle
  • Receiving cross-training in split case, receiving, warehouse and full-case
Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required - we're prepared to teach you the fundamentals of the role, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch your career. You'll begin your career with Delta Faucet Company with comprehensive safety and job-related training; on-site certification will be provided to new hires to meet Delta Faucet Company safety requirements to successfully operate industrial power equipment.

Physical requirements of the position:
  • Able to work at heights of 40-45 feet above ground on order picker.
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 25-30 lbs. Occasionally push weights of up to 30-35lbs.
  • Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
  • Able to stand and walk throughout shift, with breaks.
  • Able to visually inspect boxes and scanning devices.
