Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure stock is removed from receiving dock and delivered to stockroom on day of arrival and that no stock is left for any overnight period
- Confirm receipt of shipment and ensure product count matches that of purchase orders, keeping accurate records and communicating with vendors regarding any discrepancies or issues
- Ensure all internal and external ticketing is complete
- Review damages to determine what should be marked out of stock and list all product to be marked out of stock on damage form
- Determine that all product in stockroom has been redlined
- Participate in the inventory process by preparing the stockroom, pre-counting product(s), and preparing zone maps & tags
- Prepare stockroom for inventory
- Interface with accounting and auditors during outside audited inventory
- Help ensure cleanliness of retail storerooms and workspaces by keeping clear of all boxes; taking all trash from these areas to the dumpster, breaking down all boxes for disposal, vacuuming and washing floors as required
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
