Essential Job Functions:Developing and managing production schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiencyCoordinating with different departments to understand their scheduling needs and requirementsCreating detailed reports on production plans, progress, and any changes to the scheduleAnalyzing production specifications and plant capacity data, and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirementsResolving issues that could potentially impact schedule adherence and order fulfillmentIdentifying and implementing process improvements to improve scheduling efficiencyMonitor material inventories, track progress of production, and review factors which affect schedulesCommunicating with management and stakeholders about the status of production schedulesEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsForecasting and managing a budget for production schedulingRequirements:Proven experience as a Scheduler in chemical / biochemical batch process industryExperience in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning)Proficient in MS Office and ERP systemsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication abilities and team playerUnderstanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsBS/BA in business administration, engineering or equivalent experiencePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are the representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
