Position Details:

• Shift Type: Variable, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• Schedule: Clinic, Call, and Hospital settings

Practice Setting:

• Location: Women's Health Center
• Practice Type: Clinic, Call, and Hospital
• Practice Team: 2 OB/GYNs, 2.5 FTE APPs, support staff (RNs, MAs, CSRs)
• Support: Onsite lab and ultrasound
• EMR: EPIC
• Facility: Trauma Level 2 hospital

Procedures Required:

• Low and High-Risk Pregnancy Care: Including history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, diabetes, chronic cardiac/lung/renal conditions, etc.
• Labor and Delivery:
• Routine and complicated deliveries (including vaginal, low forceps, C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs)
• Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations
• Gynecology Procedures:
• Office/minor gynecology (IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP)
• Surgical gynecology (Open procedures)

Credentialing:

• Estimated timeframe: 90 days
• Licensing: Michigan license required

Required Certifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
• ACLS & BLS (Required)
• Michigan State License (Required)

Call/Callback Requirements:

• Callback hours:
• 8-12 hour shift: 2 hours gratis
• 24-hour shift: 4 hours gratis
