Description: Sewickley Academy is looking for a part-time School Bus Driver to join our team to transport students to and from sporting events, field trips and extracurricular events following a scheduled route while ensuring student safety.A School Bus Driver's responsibilities include ensuring that their vehicles are in good shape and observing safety and traffic rules while on the road with students.ResponsibilitiesTransport children to and from sporting events, field trips and other school activitiesObey all traffic laws to ensure students arrive to their destination safelyMaintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all timesEnsure the safety of all students when entering and leaving the busAssist students with getting on and off the bus as neededEngage with students as they enter and leave the busRequirementsCandidates must be 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with 3 years personal driving experienceProven work experience as a School Bus Driver or similar roleClean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five yearsTwo or more years of experience working with children preferredAbility to carry out assigned route on timeMust have a Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements.ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?All interested applicants applying for this position should submit their resume, cover letter, and salary requirements.Sewickley Academy is committed to having an inclusive community where all members are treated with dignity and respect.
