The Order Picker - Packer position is responsible for picking product, verifying product that has already been picked and comparing it to the pick ticket. They will be responsible for checking quantities, titles and ISBN #'s that are on the pick ticket.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Confirm book titles, ISBN # and quantity of books matches the pick ticket.
- Identify each tub or cart of books with the last three digits of the pick ticket and the quantity of carts or tubs (1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc.)
- Check the print date of the order that are ready to be checked or have been checked and are waiting to be packed to be sure none of the orders are more than 48 hours old.
- Checking and packing orders for LTL's.
- Receiving of any ground receiving.
Basic Qualifications: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity & professionalism.
Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at times.
- Safety shoes required.
