Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Receives phone-in and walk in customers’ request for partsLocates parts for customers on various machines, CAT, and other brands we serviceFinds parts using automated systemMaintains good notes, organized desk for easy and quick access to informationMaintains warranty credits/inspections and Warranty return processesPulls ordersProcesses Customer and Shop order credits and quotesPuts proper notes on orders for backorder analysts to process backordersEnsures proper shipping instructions are placed on ordersWorks cooperatively with fellow team members to accomplish warehouse/parts goalsFunctions as the liaison to the Service Shops for parts backordersAnswers phone calls as a primary responsibility in a prompt and professional mannerHelps fellow counter personnel find parts information more efficientlyAssists the supervisor in projects when called uponHandles on-call duties, assisting customers after hoursAppropriately suggests the purchase of additional items when selling a partProvides leads to PSSR’s, Service shops, etc.Relays proper parts technical information when necessaryDirects customers to the proper service techs, when more information is neededOther duties as assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED1+ years working with parts1-3 years administrative/clerical experience1-3 years customer service experience1-3 years sales experiencePhysical Demands & Competencies:Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearingSquatting/KneelingAbility to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or moreData Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skillsSafety & Product KnowledgeWork Environment:Noise: LoudIndoors and OutdoorsOther Duties:Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
