Shift Details: Weekends Covering both Albany General Hospital and North Albany Urgent Care X-Ray Why This Role Is Special: Impactful Work: As a Rad Tech, you’ll perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently, providing crucial diagnostic information that directly impacts patient care. State-of-the-Art Technology: The department prides itself on staying at the forefront of medical imaging technology. We work on keeping our equipment updated and current, with strong support from our administration and foundation. About Our Diagnostic Imaging Department: At Samaritan Health Services, we utilize the latest imaging technology to deliver fast and accurate diagnoses. Our comprehensive services include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and PET-CT scans. What You’ll Bring: Credentials: Current ARRT RT(R) credential required. If registry-eligible, you must obtain credentials within six (6) months of hire. Licensing: An unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology is required. New graduates will need a temporary license upon hire and a permanent license within six (6) months. Certifications: Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required. Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
