Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Care Physician duties, serving as an interim provider for Family Medicine patients.
• Provide care for both acute visits and chronic care management for adult patients.
• Routine FM clinical procedures based on the physician s skill set.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment with other physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and support staff (Medical Assistants, LVNs, and RNs).
• EMR system: Cerner

Caseload:

• Patients per day: 16-20
• Facility support: Assigned Medical Assistant (MA) for patient rooming; LVN and RN staff available for additional support.

Additional Information:

• The clinic is part of a large Family Medicine practice with 11 physicians and 9 APPs.
• Setting: 100% outpatient care, no inpatient duties.

Requirements:

• Active California medical license Required
• Board Certification in Family Medicine (Internal Medicine BC also accepted) Required
• Clean malpractice history
• Provider must be comfortable prescribing controlled medications and providing care to LGBTQ+ patients and pro-choice patients, including referrals to appropriate facilities for services.
• Comfortable providing care to underserved populations or Medicaid patients (18% of payer mix).
