Details: I am looking for Board-Certified Hospitalists to cover shifts from November 27th at 8 AM to November 30th at 8 AM (24-hour shifts). The facility has 49 beds with 7 ED beds, no ICU, and an ED annual volume of 7,452. The admission rate is 10%, with an average patient load per clinician of 1-8 and ED patients per hour of 20-21. The ED doctor responds to codes, and hospitalists should be able to intubate with assistance from the ED doctor. Shift coverage is from 8 AM to 8 PM, with call from 8 PM to 8 AM (must be within 30 minutes of the facility). Ideally, the provider could live in the Houston area for easier travel.

Requirements:

• License: Must have a Texas license at the time of presentation
• DEA: Must have DEA at the time of presentation
• Lifesaving Certifications: ACLS, PALS
