Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Northern California

Description/Requirements for Assignment
Active California license and Certification required
Start date: ASAP start once credentialed for 3-6 months
CV Surgery Post Operative Care
Must be ACLS Certified
Seeking four 10 hours or three 12 hour shifts each week
Coverage needed ongoing for at least 3-6 months
No Call required
Required Procedures: Remove Chest tubes and Epicardial wires (will train if needed)
Will help to support 3 surgeons and can expect 2 cases per day
EMR Cerner
Admissions per day: Transfers from Cardiac Surgery ICU 1-3 per day
Patients/day: Averages 6-12 patients per day with length of stay 5-7 days
Types of cases: Post op cardiac surgery
Seeking up to full-time coverage; considering candidates with a minimum of 1 week available per month
No ECMO experience required
One other full-time NP currently working there that you would collaborate on the shared schedule with
