Job Title: Senior Controls Designer

Location: Windsor, ON (In Person)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)

Our client is a leading provider of innovative automation and manufacturing solutions, specializing in advanced technology integration and systems design for the automotive sector and other industries. They are currently seeking a Senior Controls Designer to join their growing team.

Job Summary

The Senior Controls Designer will be responsible for a range of duties such as, designing and implementing electrical prints, automation projects and safety and IT-interfaces for all production machinery in manufacturing. Must have 5+ years of working experience (not including co-op) with AutoCAD Electrical. The successful candidate will work closely with the Mechanical Design team and shop floor employees to ensure electrical prints are following codes and issued in a timely manner.

Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements for the position:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• A two-year technical degree, or a four-year degree in related field
• Ability to work in AutoCad to design electrical and pneumatic prints
• Ability to travel as required
• Previous experience in the automation industry is a plus
• Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Ability to organize and schedule tasks
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
