Job Description

The private residence for seniors Le St-Augustin is looking for a person to fill a part-time beneficiary attendant position in the evening and night. ***Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16H up to date + PDSB completed.*** We offer telemedicine, employee assistance program, stable schedule and more!


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: a 4/14 evening/night position


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Answering call bells
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Proactively assist and support the residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PDSB training
  • Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
  • Law 90 training
