Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Job Details Specialty: Registered Nurse Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: ERCP - experience required, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Ratio / Census: 1:2; 3 rooms, 11 beds with average daily census of 20 Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic Scrub Color: Royal Blue Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. Locals Accepted - Same Rate Job Requirements ACLS - Required for RN’s/RRT’s/CRT’s in following specialties: ER, PACU, Pre-op, Endo, CSU, Critical Care, CVICU, Cardiac Tele/Step-down, PCU, IMCU, Labor & Delivery, RRT, CVOR, and CRT. CRTs must obtain within 30 days of hire. All others must have prior to start. Schedule Information 2- Eight hour shifts and 2- Ten hour shifts, both starting at 0630 Weekends: 2-3 weekends per contract Floating: None Call Requirements: 1-2 shift per week and at least 1 weekend every month Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
