Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License 1 Verification Job Details Registered Nurse position available at Central Maine Medical Center, part of the Central Maine Healthcare system. The Nurse will handle patient diagnoses including AKI, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, and med-surg, as well as occasionally treat pediatric patients with issues like RSV, pneumonia, bronchiolitis, dehydration, or failure to thrive. Responsibilities will also include administering medications like Argatroban, Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Lasix, heparin, Bumex, TPN, Remicade, IVIG and using equipment such as Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps, ceiling and portable hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, and EKG machine. Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years with specific Traveler Experience for those with Cerner experience. Skills required: Management of dysrhythmias, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, and Telemetry. Charge Nurse responsibilities included. Schedule Information Shift: 4x12 Nights 18:45-07:15. Call Requirement: None. Float Requirement: Yes, except to M3; offering help in ER when needed. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
