Job Title: Inspector Job Description We are looking for an Inspector with experience inspecting small parts. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$21 and follows a 1st shift schedule from 5am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. The company is a leader in manufacturing electrical feedthroughs, opto-electronic windows, and various ceramic to metal seals, bonds, and packages.
Responsibilities - Inspect parts per drawings and requirements to ensure conformity.
- Generate non-conforming reports when parts do not meet specifications.
- Use various inspection tools such as helium leak testers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Read and understand drawings.
- Carry out daily and weekly tasks.
- Help troubleshoot and source experts when needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working area.
- Participate in required company training.
- Conduct detailed inspections of small, precision metallic and ceramic components for use in medical, defense, and industrial applications.
Essential Skills - 2-3 years of QC Inspector or medical device experience working with very small parts.
- Experience using microscopes for small parts inspection.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and instructions.
- GD&T experience is highly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Comfortable with a slower, more meticulous process as this is not high volume production.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations.
