Job Description

Great opportunity for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join the Litigation Practice Group of a full-service super-regional law firm in its St. Louis office on a direct hire basis to handle corporate transactions, particularly those related to tax matters. The qualified attorney will be licensed and in good standing in Missouri or Illinois. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks as well as the strategic process of case management.
  • Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
  • Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings.
  • Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
  • Assist in trial preparation including strategy, discovery, records review, client interview, and witness preparation.


Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of practice handling commercial litigation matters.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Superior analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
