Warehouse Helper
Job Information:
  • Located in Parlin, NJ
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.All work preformed on-site at our warehouse
  • Paying $17 per hour to start
Warehouse Helper Responsibilities:
  • This job opening is with warehouse that distributes industrial rubber flooring material in bulk quantities and ship all over North America.
  • Picks accurate product based on customer order and cuts material off roll to meet size requirement.
  • Assembles / puts together clasps, fittings and other mechanical components & accessories.
  • Uses power tools, hand tools such as skill saw, hammers drill, screw driver to assist building freight crates to ship product
  • RF scanning
  • Prepares material for shipment and double checks order accuracy before completing job. (rubber material: gaskets, belts, seals, etc.).
  • Pulls material from existing inventory
  • Operates palletizer (shrink wrap) and wraps completed pallets
  • Accurately follows instructions, including detail Amazon instructions
  • Uses various shipping software to create shipping labels such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldWide, etc.
  • Loads tucks with customer orders: UPS, FedEx, etc. using pallet jacks, manually carrying materials and sit-down forklifts. Unloads materials from trucks when needed.
  • Stages then stows incoming material to appropriate locations in warehouse, RF scanning
  • Assures received items match order before breaking down
  • Maintains cleanliness throughout warehouse at all times.
  • Operates machinery to cut customer order down to correct size (training provided)
General Helper Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
  • At least two (2) years of continuous experience at one warehouse without gaps in employment along with positive references, including favorable inquires on past attendance. Job hopping (more then two employers in a given year) is not desirable but may be considered.
  • Training on our forklift will be provided and we look for basic forklift experience.
