We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our client's team on a temp to hire basis for the right candidate. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, performing various administrative tasks, and utilizing computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting clients or visitors as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain and organize files, documents, and records in both electronic and physical formats.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to support various projects and initiatives.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in office administration is a plus.
