Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microbiologist to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical company. This is a 2-year contract position based in Arizona, requiring on-site presence 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in aseptic facilities and a strong background in microbiological techniques and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing and analysis in an aseptic environment.
• Perform routine environmental monitoring and sterility testing.
• Develop and validate microbiological methods and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve microbiological issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
• Proven experience working in aseptic facilities.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, including sterility testing, environmental monitoring, and microbial identification.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USP, cGMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
