Job Description
  • Location: New Bedford, MA
  • Schedule: 5/10
  • Pay Range: $55-$85 per hour
  • Per Diem: Yes, if located >50 miles from the jobsite


The Project Controls Senior Analyst will:

  • Manage all aspects of project planning, scheduling, cost analysis, and field assignments, leveraging training, expertise, and experience.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior project controls staff.
  • Act as a lead the project controls function, effectively engaging and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive project forecasting, identify potential issues, and offer strategic advice to the project team on execution challenges.
  • Assist in proposal development and lead cost control activities, including establishing baseline costs and overseeing deliverables and monthly/quarterly report analysis.
  • Supervise quantity management reporting and take the lead on change management initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement key scheduling processes and lead the project controls scheduling team in the development of plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with joint venture partners on planning and scheduling tasks.
  • Ensure that constructability considerations are integrated into the planning process.
  • Oversee planning and cost control functions for less complex projects, once the baseline is established.
  • Maintain systems to track work progress and proactively address potential issues.
  • Liaise with the management team to highlight project challenges and provide the home office PCM with insights on critical project success factors.
  • Lead PJC activities in coordination with subcontracted construction partners.


Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Primavera, cost control, PCM, scheduling, and cost analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project control functions and influence both internal and external clients
  • Experience in construction management, project forecasting, and change management


Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience required
