My AmLaw 200 client is looking for a strong mid-level insurance coverage associate to join their growing practice! In this role you will receive unparalleled mentorship and comradery from a group of extremely supportive partners and associates. Experience:
- Advise clients in insurance coverage matters, manage claims and advocate policy construction that maximizes the available insurance recovery.
- Represent clients in insurance disputes involving a wide variety of losses and exposures, including traditional tort liabilities, property damage, construction claims, business interruption losses, securities fraud, business torts, employment practices liabilities, environmental losses, technology errors and omission, data and privacy breaches and public employee/official liabilities.
- Provide policyholders with counseling on pre-loss issues, ranging from assessments of coverage for particular risks to help with securing favorable coverage terms at policy inception or renewal.
- Regularly speak and write on insurance coverage issues.
Qualifications:
- JD degree from accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in Indiana state.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience analyzing insurance policies, advising on complex claims, drafting coverage opinions, assisting with claim resolutions, and supporting litigation or dispute processes.
