Must Haves

• 1-2 years of experience programming within Rockwell
• Hands on experience with USE and logics 5000
• Experience working with server databases (networking, switches, VLANs) OR field service experience on automated systems
• Background in a regulated industry

Plusses

• GxP/GmP experience and/or background in pharma
• Packaging/fill line experience
• Experience with the commissioning process

Day to Day

Insight Global is seeking an Automation Engineer to join one of our largest Pharmaceutical clients 5x/week onsite in Rensselaer, NY. This individual will be joining the Engineering and Automation team in a supporting role working closely alongside Project Engineers. This individual will be brought on help with business-as-usual tasks within facilities onsite in addition to helping Project Engineers both prep pieces of equipment for commissioning and assist with the commissioning activities themselves. This will be a very collaborative role; the candidate will be expected to work cross-functionally with other people and teams on a daily basis. This individual will not be expected to design anything from scratch but rather tweak and fix existing systems.
