Addison Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our client, a well-established leader in the manufactured and modular housing industry. This role involves overseeing safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Job Description :
The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and managing incident reports. This individual will work directly with the General Manager and play a key role in enhancing workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across the facility.
- Lead safety orientation sessions for new hires and conduct ongoing training.
- Maintain up-to-date environmental and safety records.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to identify workplace hazards and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
- Report and manage safety incidents, conducting investigations as needed.
- Develop emergency response plans and promote safety awareness.
- Analyze safety metrics and suggest improvements.
Qualifications :
- 5-8+ years of experience in safety roles within Manufacturing, Construction, or Industrial settings.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Some type of general safety certification such as OSHA or Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) are required.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- A degree related to health and safety is a plus.

- Work schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30/4:30 pm (40-hour work week), 100% onsite with free parking.
