About the Role: 100% On Site Role - Sourcing Manager

Job Title : Sourcing Manager

Overview:

As the Sourcing Manager focused on PCBA commodities, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement process for our space industry projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality PCBA components. This role requires a strong background in procurement, technical understanding of PCBA, and a passion for contributing to space exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for PCBA commodities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and overall company objectives.

· Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with PCBA suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

· Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, implementing proactive measures to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity of supply.

· Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.

· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to understand technical requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.

· Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies in all procurement activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on PCBA commodities.

· Strong technical understanding of Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes and components.

· Proven track record of successful supplier management and contract negotiation.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Location: Redmond, WA (5Days a week)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between CAD 90K/year- CAD 110K. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
