Sr. Automaton Controls Engineer (Manufacturing)

I am working with an established startup that has raised over $100million and have expanded their operations across the USA. They have been working on a groundbreaking product that is already being used by global businesses. This would be a great time to join them as they move onto the next phase.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate different controls components such as PLC systems, motion controllers, steering mechanisms, actuators, sensors etc.
• Work with the engineering team to advance automation and controls components on new and existing equipment
• Create and modify new and existing electrical schematics for engineering and production
• Develop test plans to verify machine functionality and reliability
• Support the engineering group with standards compliance, assembly, modification and documentation
• Troubleshooting of equipment by finding the root cause of failures and providing solutions to fix the problem

Essential Skills:

• Degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics etc.)
• Must have a previous background working in a Manufacturing or Production environment
• Experience creating and modifying schematic drawings
• PLC experience would be highly beneficial (Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Omron etc.)
• A candidate who is hands-on when fixing a problem would be highly beneficial
• Must have at least 3 years' experience working on Automation and Controls
