Logistics Coordinator
Evergreen Theragnostics, Inc. is a radiopharmaceutical company headquartered in Springfield, NJ. We operate in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility, focusing on CDMO services as well as commercialization of our own portfolio radiopharmaceutical products. We also operate our own cutting edge cancer research laboratories, developing proprietary, radiotherapeutic medicines. The company expects rapid growth in the next few years.
Evergreen is a small team, where all team members support each other in a variety of activities. We are looking for team members who are motivated to take on new challenges and excited to help build the company. Partial equity-based compensation packages possible.
Responsibilities:
- Manages complex supply chain relationships for import of radioactive isotopes from European and North American suppliers
- Serves as main Evergreen point-of-contact regarding isotope ordering, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery
- Oversees existing supply contract obligations and reviews terms for new agreements
- Maintains relationships with couriers and brokers for incoming and outgoing shipments of material
- Coordinates delivery of final radiopharmaceutical products to clinics and end users in the U.S. and abroad
- Facilitates ordering of radiopharmaceutical products by CDMO customers via email and/or Evergreen online ordering portal
- Manages communication of shipping-related events to end-users and customers, as needed
- Serves as subject matter expert on incoming and outgoing logistics, particularly regarding radioactive products
- Maintains strict procedures for receiving and releasing radioactive packages according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and radiation safety ALARA practices
- Assists the facility radiation safety officer, as needed
- Contributes to general procurement activities for non-radioactive materials
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in a GDP (Good Documentation Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
- Participate in special projects and department meetings by providing input, feedback, and execution of assigned tasks
- Ensure work environment is clean, safe and in compliance with safety and pharmaceutical regulations
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field and prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals preferred
- Established relationships with isotope suppliers in the United States and Europe strongly desired
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills while working under strict timelines.
- Ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner to management and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and to exercise judgement during logistics processes.
- Team oriented mindset and demonstrates ability to work easily with cross functional teams.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, etc.) and experienced in working in mainly electronic record-keeping environment
