We are seeking to hire a Bilingual Spanish-Human Resources Generalist w/manufacturing experience to join our team of progressive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
Partner with hiring managers and HR Coordinator to manage mid-level recruitment efforts, perform market research on competitive salary data, and develop job specifications for skilled roles.
Review resumes and conduct advanced screening, participating in candidate selection and onboarding decisions.
Oversee onboarding processes for mid- to senior-level roles, ensuring alignment with training standards and departmental needs.
Provide guidance to the HR Coordinator on-boarding with best practices and ensure accurate documentation and smooth transitions.
Serve as a secondary payroll processor, managing specific payroll adjustments, PTO inquiries, and specialized pay issues, while ensuring that data is accurate and current.
Educate employees on benefits options and assist with enrollment processes, acting as a resource for more complex benefits questions.
Coordinate with the HR Operations Manager on new benefits initiatives and participate in the development of policies.
Take on escalated employee relations cases requiring a higher level of support and address moderate employee grievances or disciplinary matters.
Draft documentation and communicate effectively to address a range of employee issues.
Execute and coordinate training programs, collaborate with managers to identify training needs, and ensure alignment with company goals.
Work closely with the HR Operations Manager to roll out new training materials and resources.
Facilitate performance review cycles for plant and mid-level employees, coordinating with managers to ensure consistency and fairness in reviews.
Lead planning and execution of engagement activities, coordinating with the HR Coordinator for event logistics and implementation.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in an HR role, ideally with exposure to recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations.
Experience in payroll processing or familiarity with ADP or similar payroll systems is advantageous.
Strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong attention to detail and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
