Warehouse Associate
Our client is a fourth-generation family run business that started here in Oregon. They provide professional plumbers, utilities contractors, excavators, and municipalities with high-quality plumbing, water works, and hydronics products.
SUMMARY
Receiving shipments, palletizing inventory, order pulling, packing, and shipping. Warehouse Associates are expected to maintain a high level of productivity and promote a safe work atmosphere.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

• 2 week training from 7am -3pm
• Occasional and optional OT is available

PAY: Starting at $20/hr

DUTIES

• Unload palletized and floor loaded freight
• Put away palletized or hand stacked inventory in proper locations
• Accurately pull, pack, and ship orders while adhering to guidelines
• Gather shipment information (e.g. pallet count, carton count, weight) and create shipment documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading)
• Complete simple computer tasks with standard shipping software
• Work in a safe and organized manner, keeping work areas clean
• Help with other warehouse tasks as needed
• Operate warehouse equipment including:
  • Forklifts (Stand up, Sit down, High Reach, Electric, Propane)
  • Dock plates/ramps
  • Manual pallet jacks

QUALIFICATIONS

• Physically able (lifting up to 50+ lbs)
• 6 months consistent and recent work history.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, material handling, packaging, and/or shipping preferred
• Work well independently/self-starter and with a team safely.
• Have a "how can I help" attitude and
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained.
