Eligibility and Bonus Details

• Full-time hires are eligible for $4,000 (0-1 years of experience) or $5,000 (1+ years of experience)
• Part-time hires receive a prorated bonus amount
• Per diem hires and current MaineHealth employees are ineligible

About the Role

MaineHealth's Gilman Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant or Clinical Team Assistant to join their team.

Customized Schedule

This 20-hour week position allows you to customize your schedule within clinic hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment
• Perform clinical and patient care responsibilities under the license of a physician/advanced practice practitioner

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting or equivalent experience
• License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within one year of eligibility; current BLS certification required
• Experience: One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or 6 months of experience and certification required
