Job Description
Compensation: Earn up to $600 per week as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Dominic Villa, located in the picturesque driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Our competitive salary package includes hiring bonus opportunities for full and part-time openings.
Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and kindhearted healthcare professionals who already have their CNA certification, are in a program to complete their CNA, or are looking to start their career in healthcare. As a CNA , you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with residents, patients, and families while promoting a positive image of our community. You will also attend training sessions, staff meetings, and in-services, complete required educational units annually, and obtain a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education per year.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with residents, patients, and families.
  2. Responsible for maintaining a positive image of the entity in the community.
  3. Attends training sessions, staff meetings, and in-services.
  4. Completes required educational units annually.
  5. Obtains a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education per year.
  6. Treats residents, families, and other staff with dignity and respect.
  7. Uses proper body mechanics in the performance of all tasks.
  8. Performs personal cares and mobility of residents as assigned and as directed in resident care plans.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be at least 16 years old, have an active license as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of WI (or ability to obtain), and demonstrate commitment to quality programs and services for residents. You should also possess excellent communications and human relation skills, ability to relate well to residents, patients, and families, and maintain confidentiality. Finally, you should be able to exercise independent judgment, make sound decisions, and exhibit flexibility when needed.
