The Opportunity The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive work environment. This hands-on position works across the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring a smooth and supportive employee experience throughout their lifecycle at State Electric.
Key Responsibilities: - Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the full recruitment cycle, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the onboarding of new hires.
- Employee Surveys: Design, administer, and analyze various employee surveys (exit, new hire, and stay surveys) to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives that promote a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement. This may include organizing events, recognition programs, and communication strategies.
- HR Administration: Assist with maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and providing support with HR-related inquiries.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on HR trends and suggest ways to enhance our processes and programs.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role, or a strong internship with relevant HR projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Experience with HRIS or survey software is a plus.
