Job Description Position Summary: Under the supervision and/or direction of CT Tech, performs various duties assisting in the care and treatment of patients in accordance with establishes CRMC Policies and Procedures. Understands and adheres to CRMC's Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and CRMC regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they are changed or modified.
Education, License & Cert: High School graduate (or GED) required Specialty or College level school preferred but not required
Experience: Minimum one year of relevant customer service experience required, preferably in the medical field. Experience working with patient populations preferred
Essential Functions: - Performs routine transport duties and provides efficiency to the Imaging/CT Department
- Utilize customer service skills including telephone use, AIDET and accurate message taking, based on institutional and departmental protocols
- Works cooperatively with all departments treating others with courtesy, respect, and compassion as determined through customer feedback and supervisory observation.
- Works directly with the ED staff to send and receive patients (has ED staff discontinue any monitoring or oxygen)
- Transports patients to and from the different modalities within the Imaging Department as directed.
- Notifies appropriate staff when equipment malfunctions.
- Treats patients respectfully in all communications
The pay for this position ranges from $16.00-$22.37 per hour.
