EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, Maryland. This dynamic individual will support the HR recruiters, HR team and get to learn various aspects of HR related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Schedule phone and onsite interviews as requested from recruiting team to include travel
Create, maintain, and update shared documents, reports, and employee records using HR systems ensuring accuracy and data integrity
Assist with employee onboarding to include new hire follow up
Serve as a backup to our corporate conference center which may include:
Interfacing with employees and customers to schedule, prioritize, and setup onsite business meetings.
Use of MS Teams and Outlook calendars along with databases for scheduling and email correspondence.
Technical abilities include laptop connections thru MS Teams console and network Wi-Fi.
Provide coffee service, prepare and clean up rooms between customer meetings.
Update operational/business leadership on progress, gaps, and potential failure factors that are encountered in day-to-day interactions with vendors and 3rd party systems (Background Check/Drug, ATS, Testing tools, etc.)
Assist and support with job fairs and other recruiting/hiring events
Manage and process vendor invoices and candidate reimbursements
Assist the recruiting team with other project-based assignments as needed
Provide support to HR team in areas such as immigration, employee services, and employee inquires.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma
3 or more years Human Resources experience
3 or more years of MS Office experience to include: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills necessary (verbal and written)
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems - Workday preferred
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
Must possess strong initiative, attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work well in high energy, fast paced environment
Some college preferred
Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00
