Description Oversee daily procurement and sourcing to ensure timely acquisition of materials for production needs. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiation of contracts and terms to optimize costs and quality. Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to maintain a steady flow of necessary supplies. Monitor inventory levels and implement demand planning to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Analyze purchasing data to improve procurement strategies and address potential supply chain issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in purchasing activities. Profile Expertise in supply chain management, procurement, and sourcing processes. Proven skills in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relations. Knowledge in inventory control and demand planning to balance supply with production needs. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing software; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
