Job Description
This position is the Branch's Database Administrator and Report Developer. The position manages database systems including database management, data security, data integrity, data storage, database performance, database access database modifications etc. This role is Report Development. Client Details One of the world's largest commercial banks, offering corporate and personal banking, investment services, and asset management. Global Presence. Description ? Develop and implement database strategies for the bank's reporting and database systems. ? Align IT reporting strategies with the bank's overall business goals and regulatory requirements. ? Lead a team of database developers, report developers, and data analysts. ? Responsible for database environment configuration, migration and cutover, storage, fault handling, performance optimization, backup, daily monitoring, database tuning etc.; ? Ensure data integrity and consistency across all database systems to implement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain high data quality. ? Document database designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures. ? Write technical documents and testing reports. Provide support for the internal and external audit and exam. ? Be responsible for demonstrating risk awareness by following all policies, procedures, and internal controls in their daily routine Profile A successful candidate will have the following(Bi-Lingual in Mandarin or Cantonese a plus): ? 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server or other database applications in an enterprise environment. ? 2 years of DBA experience. Skills and Knowledge: ? More than two years of DBA-related work experience. Have experience in largescale database operation and maintenance management. ? Familiar with data backup, restoration, import, export, synchronization, format conversion, and other operations of Microsoft SQL Server or other database. ? Extensive experience writing advanced SQL queries and stored procedures and troubleshooting their performance. ? Experience in developing test plans, test scripts, validation procedures, and performing system testing. ? Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools including SSIS and SSRS, and integration with SQL. ? Ability to develop reports development and maintenance policies, and draft the new product or report requirements Job Offer Quick interview process with an immediate start date.
