Job Summary
In this role, you will have responsibility for the performance of the operations & supply chain team for assigned programs under the Maritime, HPM, NGT umbrella.
This position is ON-SITE in Tewksbury, MA, and will require 20% travel to Portsmouth, RI and Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do:
  • Leads all Operations & Supply Chain efforts for 3 SSBU portfolios.
  • AOP and Financial Forecasting
  • Communicate Risk & Opportunities
  • Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution.
  • Reviews and assesses request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
  • Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and ensure adherence to the plan. Work closely with Operations, Planning and Finance functions to optimize planning and supply chain cycle to meet development requirements.
  • Represents Operations & Supply Chain with various Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to resolve factory & supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas.
  • Lead projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement.
  • Support operations & supply chain lead for internal and external audits regarding material and cost validations.
  • Develops strategies around SSBU objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of developmental results.
  • Explains policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others.
  • Develops and grows existing team through training, tools, processes and experience
  • Problems faced are difficult and involve consideration of multiple variables.
  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience with supply chain, vendor management, Risk Assessment/Mitigation and/or performance management
  • Experience with operations, capacity assessments, and/or Make/Buy/Where
  • Prior ERP work experience, SAP highly preferred
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Experience as a Materials Program Manager
  • Previous history managing employees
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and multi-site leadership
  • Degree in Business/Operations/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred
  • 5-7 years of proven Supply Chain experience
  • 2-4 years of proven Operations/ Factory experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
  • Project management experience is a strong plus
  • T/S Security eligibility

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
