We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker / Screen Printer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various tasks within the production process, with a focus on screen printing. You will assist in preparing, setting up, and operating screen-printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety protocols, and efficiency standards.salary: $14 - $14.5 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Preparing Screens and Materials: Coating screens with emulsion, burning images onto screens, and ensuring screens are aligned correctly. Setting up materials and equipment for printing. Operating Printing Equipment: Managing and running the screen-printing press, loading substrates, and adjusting settings to ensure quality output. Monitoring equipment and making real-time adjustments during the printing process. Quality Control: Inspecting prints to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality, addressing any issues like misalignment, ink smudges, or color inconsistencies. Ink Mixing and Color Matching: Preparing and mixing inks to match color specifications and achieve the desired finish, including adjusting opacity, brightness, or texture. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly cleaning and maintaining screens, squeegees, and presses, as well as troubleshooting issues with machinery and supplies to prevent delays. Inventory and Supply Management: Tracking ink, screens, and other material levels; ordering supplies as necessary to maintain consistent production. Record-Keeping and Documentation: Documenting production runs, inventory levels, and any technical issues encountered during shifts. Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols to prevent accidents, including handling chemicals like inks and solvents, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
