Summary: Our client located in Windsor, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll provide administrative support to the HR department, handling tasks such as scheduling benefit meetings, maintaining employee records, and coordinating interviews. Hours are full-time Monday-Friday, fully onsite. Pay is $41,600 or more per year based on experience.
Responsibilities: - Schedule and prepare materials for employee benefit meetings
- Assist with garnishments and maintain the Certificate of Insurance (COI) program
- Manage personnel files and perform I-9 audits for new hires
- Respond to requests for HR information
- Coordinate employee events and provide HR-related information to employees
- Maintain handbooks, new employee forms, benefit forms, etc
- Support special projects and other HR-related duties as needed
Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred)
- 1+ years of HR experience or a combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
