Job Purpose:
To apply procedural, organizational and customer service skills in a variety of duties. Experience and Knowledge:
1. Experience in a variety of office support positions.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of secretarial and applicable office procedures.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of operational procedures associated with terminals, personal computers and other peripheral equipment.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of grammar, punctuation and syntax applicable to the preparation of keyed materials.
Skills/Abilities:
1. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public and fellow employees.
2. Ability to apply discretion and appropriate security measures in handling of confidential Information.
3. Demonstrated ability to adjust to fluctuating workloads and priorities.
4. Gather information from existing and potential clients.
5. Pivot clients to new product lines to be developed by licensed team members.
6. Must become a licensed insurance professional.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Receive visitors.
2. Respond to routine telephone calls.
3. Prepare reports, records, and information at agent's request.
4. Establish and maintain files.
5. Requisition Supplies.
6. Assist in training of less experienced staff.
