SUMMARY
The Experience Planner serves as an ambassador to all activities throughout the resort. The role requires the Planner to assist guests in reserving activities prior to arrival.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties include; although are not limited to:
•Providing excellent customer service to all guests and taking reservations using proper Montage verbiage, ensuring to adhere to Montage Palmetto Bluff standards
•Providing information and assistance to guests regarding specific resort and activity information prior to arrival
•Contacting guests prior to arrival to assist with reserving activities
•Booking activity and dining reservations for guests within the resort
•Properly logging guests requests and performing follow up with guests
•Maintaining ongoing communication with activity departments regarding events and opportunities of enjoyment within the resort
QUALIFICATIONS
•High school Diploma or equivalent required
•Minimum of two years' experience in customer service
•Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal and written communication skills required
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Sales background preferred
•Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
•Must possess a positive attitude
•Must be willing to participate in a learning environment
•Must integrate company values throughout all interactions
•Must be able to quickly and effectively adapt to using new software products
•Must be dependable and available to work within the hotel on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
