The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) EHS Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Support site EHS culture, promote awareness of EHS requirements and ensure compliance
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance on all aspects of the site’s EHS Activities
  • Analyze EHS data, report trends and develop action plans to address identified gaps
  • Develop, Coordinate and/or lead EHS trainings, EHS audits and EHS record retention
  • Provide EHS Support in the design and installation of new or modified equipment, new products introduction, incoming material approval and management of change.
  • Support site management system implementation
  • Assist in investigating workplace incidents and completing root cause analyses to determine appropriate corrective actions
  • Conduct workplace assessments to continually improve and reduce risk

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (4) years of EHS experience

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of EHS experience 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Understanding of ISO 14001
  • Experience in EHS audits
  • Engineering or strong technical skills is preferred
  • Experience conducting Process Hazard Analysis
  • Experience with Air Monitoring and Ventilation
  • Certifications such as:  Certified Industrial Hygienist(CIH); Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM); Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other related credentials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work closely with Plant Management and Production employees.
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills.

Work location:

  • Onsite Irvine

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 - $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
