  • ***PICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*** A 20 bed fast paced, high acuity unit with a 1:2 nurse ratio. Patients are aged 2 weeks to 26 years old. Populations include respiratory disease and failure, neuro disease, DKA, Level 1 Trauma, pediatric surgery, non-accidental trauma, hematology/oncology complications, sepsis and metabolic disease. Skills include the care of an intubated and ventilated patient, care for patients with central and dialysis lines, chest tubes, EVD’s, NG’s, foleys, ICP bolts and lumbar drains. In addition the nurse should be competent in the administration of sedative and vasoactive drips, epidural medication, blood products, and emergency medications.
    Job Requirements
  • American Heart Association only.
  • Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification, as required for the position ran within 30 days of start updated upon expiration. Attestations not allowed.
  • Highest level of education verified.
  • Must provide verification of employment within 5 years.
  • Physical Exam completed within one year of initial start date.
