Job Summary
The Patient Navigator will be responsible for effectively applying promotional and selling strategies to expand company business opportunities and deliver revenue in an assigned area and contribute to the achievement of the company's revenue goals. The incumbent will provide complex and technical information to ensure awareness and appropriate use of company products to designated physician specialist, medical group practices, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
Schedule Details
- Remote - Active states AmeriPharma is currently licensed to hire in: California, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Jersey, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wyoming, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.
- Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and track patient leads
- Communicate with existing and past customers to generate new leads
- Make outgoing sales calls. Transition leads through first point of contact to ultimate sale of products
- Create strategic call plans to support sales activities
- Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and requests for information
- Meet or exceed call volume quotas and sales targets
- Promote AmeriPharma within the clinical and patient communities.
- Document all sales calls and activities into pharmacy software DB, and other sales platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvement of service to customer's
- Assist in execution of customer and/or product surveys to improve service and products delivered to market
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Reports and acknowledges any applicable concerns or departmental inquiries to the Sr. Patient Navigator
- Training Supervisor and Sr. Patient Navigator - Supervisor
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a health care setting. Pharmacy Preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, drug names, and health care industry lingos
- Basic knowledge of health care insurance benefits (i.e. commercial, private, and govt.)
- Passion for sales and the drive to succeed
- Self-motivated problem-solver with strong desire to meet customer needs
- Ability to develop long term relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire for a long-term career with an industry leading company
- Ability to present and maintain a positive corporate image in a fast-paced environment
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a health care setting. Pharmacy Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of inside or outside sales experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency
