Job Type: Direct Hire with Benefits. This is not a Temporary Assignment.
Shift Information:
- 3rd Shift.
- 12 Hour: 7pm-7am
- Overtime Mandatory.
- 12-hour 3rd Shift rotates between Week 1 and Week 2. Week 1: Mon/Tues/Sat/Sun and Week 2: Wed/Thurs/Fri. Enjoy every other weekend OFF. Shift hours are 7pm - 7am.
Additional Pay Info: $1,000 Signing Bonus and $500 Referral opportunities are available.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Troubleshoots and repairs machine malfunctions while performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Locates and repairs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems efficiently.
- Completes projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, material handling, and work area remodeling.
- Assists in training other maintenance personnel and production associates to foster a skilled team.
- Ensures that all job functions maintain or improve product quality through diligent oversight.
- Performs preventative maintenance functions on equipment as scheduled.
- Completes work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner to support production goals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience is a plus.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
- Experience working with electrical systems ranging from 24V DC to 480V AC.
- Able to read and interpret electrical blueprints with ease.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Ability to work well in a team environment and complete projects in a timely manner with high workmanship standards.
- On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical skills.
- Hilift/Forklift operation experience with the ability to obtain necessary licenses.
- Familiarity with Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training is a bonus.
- Must be capable of working in a manufacturing setting, including standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, and pushing as required.
