Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Previous manufacturing and material handling experience
• Must possess abilities in leadership, organization, safety, teamwork, and quality
• Must be or able to become Lennox AES certified in forklift operations

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Able to train and assist with training others
• Can read and use a tape measure
• Able to use hand and power tools, including wood cutting saws
• Works with a positive attitude and is a team player
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects
• Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

A Material Handler Lead for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within the facility. Operating a forklift safely while managing the loading/unloading process of shipments and coordinating others within the department is essential to ensure the smooth workflow of production processes.

The Compensation for this position is $20 per hour.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead coordination amongst material handlers
• Assist in managing the loading and unloading process of shipments
• Assist in organization of facility and finished product storage
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure site productivity and efficiency
• Operate forklifts to move materials and products throughout the plant
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated areas for shipping
• Stack and organize materials in a way that optimizes space and accessibility
• Coordinate with all levels of production to maintain flow of materials and product
• Perform other duties as assigned and based on production needs
• Handle materials for pallet construction and design
• Assist in other departments as needed
