Home2 Suites Mesa Longbow is looking for a House Attendant to join the team!
The House Attendant cleans offices and public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies. Respond to guest requests or complaints. Ensure the confidentiality and security of public areas and offices. Perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness.
Essential Requirements:

• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper.
• Review assignment sheet and update complete assignments. Check with Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift.
• Organize wok duty priorities.
• Stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment.
• Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools and equipment.
• Ensure that nothing is stored in stairwells.
• Transport any food and beverage trays/items in public areas to service areas.
• Check under furniture for debris and remove if present; reposition furniture to correct floor plan.
• Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains and report damages to Supervisor. Dust and polish all woodwork.
• Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor.
• Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor.
• Handle guest complains by following the six step procedures, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ensure security of hotel property
• Assist Room Attendants as assigned.
• Stock Housekeeping department supplies.
• Perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.

Requirements

• 1 year previous experience in cleaning public buildings.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
